Coach Angelo Reyes is on a Five-Fight Winning Streak since December 2014.

Most recently he coached, Two-Time UFC Heavyweight Champion, Frank Mir, to a victory on UFC Fight Night 71 in San Diego 2015. Heading into the fight Frank Mir was a 2-1 underdog with many believing Todd Duffee would KO Mir in the 1st round.

Coach Reyes orchestrated the Striking of Frank Mir’s upset victory over Antonio Silva February 2015 in Brazil.



In February 2015, Coach Reyes’ assignment was to train 2-Time UFC HeavyWeight Champion, Frank Mir, in MMA Striking for his fight vs Antonio Silva in where Mir was the 3 to 1 underdog heading in Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Team Mir was successful in reinventing Frank Mir’s career as Frank scored a 1st Round TKO Victory.

Coach Angelo Reyes studied Kenpo Karate through the Ed Parker lineage at the age of 10 years old. After mastering the art for a decade he received his Black Belt at the age of 20.

In 2006, he began a relationship with 7-time Boxing Trainer of the Year and Hall of Famed, Freddie Roach.



Reyes spent the next several years side by side Coach Freddie, learning the craft and assisting fighters, most notably working with Ana Julaton who became Roach’s 28th world champion.

In 2011, Reyes took over the duties as Head Boxing Coach for Ana Julaton the now 3 Time World Boxing Champion.

He continues working and cornering professional boxers of Allan Tremblay Promotions along with his duties in MMA coaching in the UFC and other Top Tier promotions.

In November 2014, Reyes trained both Julaton and Heavyweight ONE Championship fighter, Brandon Vera, for their MMA return at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila (Dec. 2014).

angelo reyes brandon vera mitt workVera asked Reyes to teach him the “sweet science”.  Working with Team Vera Head Coach Billy Scheibe, they combined the art of Muay Thai with Boxing.



In his ONE FC debut in Manila, Brandon left the cage untouched and scored a 1st round TKO, via straight left cross, which dropped Vera’s opponent to the floor and who received 3 vicious kicks to the head. This impressive performance left an impression with the screaming 20,000 fans in attendance.
